Who We Are

SocMan is a content workflow platform for planning, generating, scheduling, publishing, and analyzing social media content for connected Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts. Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@smiengine.com.

Accounts and Workspaces

• You must provide accurate account, workspace, billing, and contact information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials secure.
• You must have authority to manage each workspace, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or other connected account you add to SocMan.
• You must promptly remove access for team members who should no longer use a workspace.

Meta Connections

SocMan uses Meta permissions only for workflows you authorize. These workflows may include Page selection, Facebook publishing, Instagram publishing, post analytics, comment management, and Instagram message automation.

• You may disconnect Facebook and Instagram accounts from SocMan or remove SocMan from your Meta account settings.
• Publishing, analytics, comments, and messaging features may stop working if permissions are revoked, tokens expire, account roles change, or Meta restricts an account.
• SocMan is not endorsed by, certified by, or affiliated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
• Your use of connected Meta accounts must comply with Meta terms, platform policies, community standards, and applicable law.

Content and Publishing

• You own or control the content, brand materials, captions, images, logos, prompts, and account data you provide to SocMan.
• You grant SocMan permission to process that content only as needed to provide the service, including generation, editing, previews, scheduling, publishing, support, and reliability checks.
• You are responsible for reviewing content before it is published and for ensuring it is accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and compliant with platform rules.
• Scheduled publishing is best effort. Meta outages, expired tokens, missing permissions, invalid media, rate limits, account restrictions, or infrastructure incidents may delay or prevent publishing.

Analytics, Comments, and Messages

• Analytics are provided for operational insight and may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or unavailable depending on Meta APIs, media type, account state, timing, and permission access.
• Comment workflows may read, manage, moderate, or reply to Instagram comments only when you connect the account and enable those workflows.
• Message workflows may access or respond to Instagram messages only when you connect the account and enable those workflows.
• You are responsible for automation settings, message content, response rules, escalation behavior, and compliance with messaging, privacy, advertising, and consumer protection rules.

AI and Generated Outputs

SocMan may use automated systems and third-party providers to help generate drafts, captions, layouts, images, recommendations, and analytics summaries. Generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable for your brand or legal requirements. You must review and approve outputs before relying on or publishing them.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use SocMan to violate law, platform rules, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights.
• Do not publish spam, deceptive content, malware, phishing content, hate, harassment, illegal products, or content that exploits or harms people.
• Do not use SocMan to scrape, sell, broker, or misuse Meta platform data.
• Do not bypass rate limits, security controls, account permissions, billing systems, or access restrictions.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with SocMan or its providers.

Billing, Credits, and Plans

• Paid features, subscriptions, usage limits, and credit balances are described in the product or checkout flow.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. SocMan does not store full payment card details.
• Credits may be consumed by generation, rendering, publishing, automation, or other billable actions shown in the product.
• Unless required by law or expressly stated in writing, fees and consumed credits are non-refundable.
• We may suspend paid features if payment fails, a plan expires, usage limits are exceeded, or abuse is detected.

Third-Party Services

SocMan depends on third-party services including Meta, Stripe, hosting providers, storage providers, analytics, error monitoring, and communications tools. Those services may change, fail, suspend access, modify APIs, or impose limits. SocMan is not responsible for third-party platforms outside our control.

Privacy and Data Deletion

Our collection and use of personal information and Meta platform data is described in the Privacy Policy. Data deletion instructions are available at Privacy Policy - Data Retention and Deletion.

Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, pause, remove, or add features, including beta features and integrations. We may also perform maintenance or take action needed to protect reliability, security, users, or connected platforms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse SocMan, create risk for connected platforms or other users, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm. You may stop using SocMan at any time and request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Liability

SocMan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent allowed by law, SocMan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by third-party platforms, account restrictions, user content, or publishing decisions.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold SocMan harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, connected accounts, published posts, automation settings, violation of these terms, violation of law, or violation of third-party rights or platform rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as product features, integrations, business needs, or legal requirements change. Material updates are reflected by the date on this page. Continued use of SocMan after updates means you accept the updated terms.
